Remediation of existing information to agreed requirements and identify issues such as out of date or lacking information prior to on site validation. Building a picture of what we think is there and information gaps or misalignment. Could include Asset Schema exports from existing systems/CAFM's.
On site activities such as checking areas deemed as having inaccurate information and acquiring any assets not included in the desktop survey and related information. This allows us to confirm what we know is there against what we think. Typically this is alongside a LiDAR scan to gain a reality capture including high definition images for future exploitation and better remote interaction.
Providing an updated Asset Data Schema (typically COBie) to update any existing systems with the site verified information with identification of removed, new or updated assets. Could also include updating of drawings and schematics as well as O&M's and the delivery of usable Point Cloud Survey information.
The specific services provided can vary and will be client determined but include:
On-site 3D surveys: LiDAR / photogrammetry / other (2D surveys can be produced as final outputs but would be from a LiDAR scan)
On-site/remote asset/component identification (asset tagging)
On-site asset information surveys
Remote CAD standardisation (dwg masters combined from previous layouts and ready for CAFM import)
Remote Data Rich Modelling(DRM)/BIM (in part or whole depending on client needs) — ranging from full existing GA's and MEP service layouts, to critical elements only
Remote asset information model/management support services (COBie/IFC)
Remote/on-site training specific to CAFM/AMS and their delivery to enable in house take over
Remote on going help & support
Introductions to additional software providers who can help improve Asset Information practises utilizing the collected data
